PANAMA RESIDENCY IN 2026

The easiest and fastest way to obtain a second residency in Latin America is here, and you can now work with our team in Paraguay to get this done ASAP.

WHY PANAMA?

Over the past two years, I researched several countries and their residency options. Out of all the places I explored, Panama stood out as one of the top choices—and here’s why:

Panama offers one of the most accessible and well-structured residency programs in Latin America, especially through options like the Friendly Nations Visa and the Pensionado Program. Whether you're an entrepreneur, a remote worker, or someone seeking a more stable future, Panama provides a reliable and relatively quick path to legal residency.

After five years of permanent residency, individuals can apply for Panamanian citizenship. Foreigners are also allowed to own property outright, including beachfront real estate, and can establish companies with 100% foreign ownership, making Panama a practical and business-friendly destination for those looking to settle in Latin America.

PANAMA INCENTIVES

Territorial Tax System

Panama operates under a territorial tax system, meaning foreign-sourced income is not subject to local taxation. For example, if you paid yourself a $200,000 salary in 2025 through your Irish company while being a tax resident in Panama, you would not be taxed on that income by Panama.

This exemption on overseas earnings is a powerful advantage—a rare benefit that few countries in the world currently offer, making Panama especially attractive to entrepreneurs, remote workers, and international investors.

Liberalism

Panama is a nation built by immigrants, with a long-standing tradition of openness and opportunity. As a resident of Panama, you benefit from strong legal protections and equal treatment in terms of civil rights and property ownership—foreigners can buy land, open businesses, and integrate freely into society.

Panama’s liberal policies have made it a hub for expats and entrepreneurs who seek stability, freedom, and the chance to build a new life in a welcoming environment.

Property Ownership

In Panama, foreigners can own 100% of the land and residential property in their name—no local partner or special structure required.

This puts you in a far stronger position buying real estate in Panama than in countries like Thailand or the Philippines, where foreign ownership is heavily restricted or requires complex legal arrangements.

Passport Strength

As of 2026, a Panamanian passport grants visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to over 140 countries and territories, including the Schengen Area, the UK, and much of Latin America. While it may not be as powerful as an EU passport, it still ranks well globally and provides significant travel freedom.

To qualify for Panamanian citizenship, you must reside in the country for five years as a permanent resident. Compared to countries that require 7 to 10 years—or offer no clear path at all—Panama offers a balanced and realistic route to citizenship, especially for those planning long-term relocation or international diversification.

100% Company Ownership

As a foreigner in Panama, you can own 100% of your company without the need for a local partner. Panama’s business laws allow full foreign ownership, giving you complete control over your business operations. While you’ll need to appoint a resident director for your company, you are not required to have a Panamanian partner.

Whether you're starting a boutique, a tech startup, or a consulting firm, you can run your business independently—providing you with peace of mind and full control over your company’s direction and success.

SEE WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT US!

I've found that many companies offering assistance with residency lack on-ground experience in the countries they serve.

However, Gerald's personal experience in these locations is truly priceless. His expertise in residency, legal paperwork, and the overall process is unmatched.

Working with him and his team has been refreshingly straightforward.

I purchased the Nomad Elite coaching program and I enjoyed my time working with Gerry. He gave me the blueprint on how to start a successful online business.

What I appreciated the most was how honest and transparent he is. Today, there are so many people online claiming to take you to success overnight or they make it look easy.

But Gerry is straightforward and teaches you how a business really works (because he has successfully done it). I learned so much from Gerry and enjoyed working with him. Highly recommend!
